Wakanda Forever heavily hinted that when the rest of the world comes for Wakanda's Vibranium, Namor and the people of Talokan will seize an opportunity to gain an ally against the surface world. However, if Wakanda does emerge victorious during such a conflict, it will likely not be by their strength alone. Furthermore, the world's acquisition of Vibranium could lead to the births of new supervillains with advanced technology, giving the Avengers an even tougher time of defending the innocent people of Earth against tyrants like Doctor Doom and the Leader, both of whom have acquired Vibranium in the comics. If the war goes poorly, Black Panther 3 may take away Wakanda's Vibranium, forcing the country to rely on other skills to survive in a rapidly changing world. Such a massive worldwide conflict would doubtlessly have rippling effects on future projects and certainly on Wakanda itself. When the Vibranium War comes to an end, the MCU will surely never be the same. Some factions may feel emboldened to end this " Vibranium Cold War" by attacking Wakanda, making for the perfect plot for the unannounced yet inevitable Black Panther 3, which would be the natural finale to the ongoing Vibranium War storyline. Each of these projects could show the war from Wakanda's eyes, as nations both friendly and unfriendly acquire greater destructive abilities than ever before and the world enters a new technological era. The MCU's Vibranium war may even extend into Disney+ ventures, especially given Ryan Coogler's partnership with the streaming service, which will result in several Wakanda-based projects, including the unannounced yet heavily rumored Midnight Angels MCU spinoff. If this is indeed the Thunderbolts' first mission, audiences can be assured that the Vibranium race will begin in full during Phase 5 of the MCU as nations stockpile the resource for themselves. As the likely leader of the future Thunderbolts, Val seems highly likely to use her new team as a means of acquiring Vibranium, whether from Wakanda or an as-yet-undiscovered source. This subplot may have seemed insignificant to Black Panther, but sets up Thunderbolts in a surprisingly meaningful way. Wakanda Forever revealed that Valentina Allegra de Fontaine is the new director of the CIA and that she desperately wants to acquire Vibranium for her country's purposes.
